This is a UK 2022-23 Tax rates PAYE salary calculator for working out salary figures under the UK PAYE system. The calculator works out the tax to pay known as PAYE, works out the employees national insurance contribution (NIC) .
You can input your tax code(optional) if you know it and it will be used to work out the PAYE tax due. If you have a student loan, the salary calculators give you the option to select student loan plan 1 or plan 2 and then compute
the expected deduction from your salary.

All the deductions are computed and taken off the gross salary to give the estimated take home pay.

The calculated figures for PAYE, National Insurance Contributions(NIC) , Student loan repayments, take home pay are presented yearly, monthly, weekly and daily.

The calculator does not currently handle Scottish tax bands.

Plug in your gross salary, student loan status, plus your tax code( optional) if you know it, and you will get an estimate of your expected take home pay after tax.

Net salary to gross calculator;
A reverse salary calculator, Plug in the take home amount you would like to check, and work out an estimate of the gross salary required to provide that take home pay after deductions like tax.

Furlough pay calculator;
Been put on furlough, provide your furlough percentage and your annual pay figures, to get an estimate of your furlough take home income after deductions like tax.


Pro-rata pay calculator;
Working part time, provide your hours compared to full time hours, the full time pay figures, to get an estimate of your pro rata take home income after deductions like tax.

Hourly pay calculator;
Provide the hourly rate, working hours, and and get estimates of the expected take home income after deductions like tax.
