As is known, Ramadan fasting is a special worship. Because it is individual, only you know whether you are fasting or not. Because of this special fasting of worship, in his word qudsi Allah says, al-Shaumu Li Wa Ana Ajzi bi (Fasting is for Me and I am the one who gives the reward).

This Qudsi hadith narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim turns out to have a deep meaning. Even though fasting is an individual act of worship, fardu 'ain for every Muslim, intelligent person, fasting also has the value of social worship such as the recommendation to feed those who are fasting.
