The cultural community association 13 September was founded on September 13, 2007, with the aim of developing a community and solidarity spirit, following humanist principles.

After indescribable work and tireless waiting, on September 15, 2015, the Association was awarded the provisional grant, having started operating with its inauguration on October 16 of the same year, with the visitation of many Mercedians, even because it dealt with new in the Municipality.

Operating on a provisional basis until September 15, 2016, when the Station was awarded the Definitive License valid until March 10, 2026.

Radio Mercedes FM operates on frequency 87.9 Mhz, channel 200 and station callsign zyx921, with power of 25,000w, located at Av. João XXIII, 476, center, Mercedes – Paraná.
