Kungfu or gongfu (功夫, Pinyin: gōngfu) is a martial art originating from ancient China. However, the meaning of the word Kungfu actually has a much broader meaning, namely something that is obtained in a long time and with high perseverance. Thus, an expert on an actor who has special or great expertise can be said to have high Kung Fu.

Besides the word Kungfu, the terms Wushu and Kundao or Kuntao are also often used to refer to Chinese martial arts. However, the term Kuntao is very rarely used today.
