This is an educational mathematics game teaching Grade 5 students Statistics and Probability. Students best understand probability when the example given is relevant to them. In this game, the chances of pulling matching colour gum-balls from jars. It is designed to be an interesting fun way for students to learn a difficult topic. This game helps students understand probability and how to represent outcomes using fractions.
It teaches students how to calculate the likelihood of an event by considering the number of possible outcomes.
This game designed to suit the Mathematics Curriculums of Australia, Canada, England and the U.S.A.

(ACMSP116) - List outcomes of chance experiments involving equally likely outcomes and represent probabilities of those outcomes using fractions.

FOR STUDENTS:
How to play:
You have 2 jars of gum-balls.
Imagine you put one hand in each jar at the same time.
You then mix the up gum-balls and without looking, you pull out a gum-ball in each hand.
What is the chance of picking the same colour?
Super Challenge:
Can you work out your chance of pulling the same colour gum'ball from the 2 jars? Are you ready for the challenge?
