Sheikh Yasin is known as a scholar who is prolific in writing, his works number in the hundreds, so that al-Habib Saqqaf bin Muhammad Assegaf, a Hadhramaut scholar praised him as "the Suyuthi Imam of his time" because of his numerous works.

This cleric who was born in the 20th century produced works of no less than 100 titles, all of which are spread and have become references in Islamic institutions, Islamic boarding schools, both in Mecca and Southeast Asia. A number of students and researchers are now starting to try to inventory, codify and publish these works. It is reported that to date there are only 97 books (including 9 books on the science of hadith, 25 books on the science and ushul fiqh, 36 books on the science of astronomy, and the rest on other sciences).

In fact, his book al-Fawaid al-Janiyyah was used as syllabus material for the ushul fiqh course at the Sharia Faculty of al-Azhar University in Egypt. making Sheikh Yasin's works used by scholars and students as a reference.

Even though Sheikh Yasin al-Faddani can speak Malay, he wrote all his works in Arabic. His works consist of books of fiqh, hadith, balaghah, dates, astronomy, sanad as well as in other branches of science
