Sheikh Yasin is known as a scholar who is productive in writing, his works number in the hundreds, so that Al-`Allamah Sayyid Saqqaf bin Muhammad As-Saqqaf, a Hadhramaut scholar praised Sheikh Yasin as "Suyuthy Zamanih" (Imam Suyuthy in his time) because of his work. Lots.

A number of students and researchers are now starting to try to inventory, codify and publish these works. It is reported that up to now there are only 97 books, including nine on the science of hadith, 25 books on the science of fiqh and ushul fiqh, 36 books on the science of astronomy, and the rest on other branches of science.

Some of Sheikh Yasin's books are used as references and lessons in several Islamic educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools, madrasas, science councils and universities both in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. In fact, his book Fawaid Al Janiyah was used as syllabus material for the Ushul Fiqh course at the Al Azhar Sharia Faculty. Presumably, as recognized by scholars who know his level of knowledge, it is the high and systematic structure of language and its dense content that makes Sheikh Yasin's work used by scholars and students as a reference.
