This ebook is adapted from my own series of articles on the Microsoft TechNet Wiki site with the same title, namely Getting to Know Formulas in Excel. So, if it's already on the TechNet Wiki, why does it have to make an ebook version too? The reason is because to read this series of articles you need Internet access, aka you have to be online, so in the end I combined the 30 part series of articles on the TechNet Wiki into this ebook, of course, so that it can be downloaded and then read offline. Several revisions were also made here and there along with ell-updates to suit the format of an ebook.

As the title suggests, this ebook of course discusses an introduction to formula and function features in the Excel application, but of course it is impossible to discuss everything about these formulas and functions considering the subject matter is very broad and relatively complex. In this ebook, we only discuss the basic concepts of its use, the hope is that it can help anyone who wants to get to know the use of formulas in Excel. To follow this ebook, it is hoped that you will also be familiar with the basics of using the Excel application or be used to working with Excel, even if it is only limited to data entry.

The subject matter in this ebook is also structured based on the use of formulas in the Excel 2010 application. For other versions, such as Excel 2007 or Excel 2013, the usage is broadly the same, only some adjustments may need to be made, for example for the dialog boxes displayed and the location of the buttons or command menus. maybe there is a difference.
