He is the Salafist sheikh Abu Muhammad Saad bin Yusuf bin Mahmoud Abu Aziz, may God protect him. The sheikh grew up loving the Qur’an and keen to seek Islamic knowledge. Although he went through difficult living conditions at the beginning of his life and traveled abroad for work, this did not discourage him from seeking knowledge, so he memorized the Qur’an and studied Tajweed. The Sheikh obtained a certificate from the Institute for Preparing Preachers and won a number of Da’wah and Holy Quran competitions. The prize for one of those competitions was Umrah to the Sacred House. So the Sheikh visited Mecca, and his visits to the Holy Land were repeated. During his visits, the Sheikh is keen to meet scholars there, and some of them exchange visits with him. He met with Allama Bin Uthaymeen, Sheikh Al-Bassam, Sheikh Saleh Al-Luhaidan, Sheikh Abdul Salam Al-Suhaimi, and Sheikh Saleh Al-Suhaimi. The Sheikh met many of its scholars, including Sheikh Muhammad Saeed Raslan - may God protect him - who greatly influenced the Sheikh with his knowledge, morals, defense of the Sunnah, and rejection of fanaticism and partisanship.
