That program allows you to pair an ACTset-B-Ring with an android barcode terminal and thus trigger the terminal's scanner via the ring button.
The application interface also allows:
1- change profile setting scanning
2- Check the battery level

Note: the location authorization is necessary for the proper functioning of the application.
