The Explorers Club is a renowned international, multidisciplinary society committed to advancing scientific exploration, field research, and resource conservation. Founded in New York City in 1904, its mission spans the encouragement of exploration across land, sea, air, and space.

With a global membership of around 3,500 individuals from more than 60 countries, it unites explorers, scientists, and students‡ pursuing authentic field science—distinguishing them from casual travelers—and dedicated to expanding human knowledge through documented expeditions.

The club champions impactful research with grants such as the Youth Activity Fund, the Exploration Fund, and the President’s Award for Exploration and Technology.
