In 1985 the Vale da Bênção Educational and Charitable Association - AEBVB was born. The first challenge was to help remove children and adolescents from the streets of Lapa in the city of São Paulo. There were hundreds of children and teenagers in this region, feeding on leftover garbage, suffering mistreatment, and with no prospect of getting out of that situation.

Since then, AEBVB has had the privilege of rescuing thousands of children, adolescents and families, especially after building Cidade da Criança, in Vale da Bênção, in Araçariguama. Currently, we develop activities in Cidade da Criança, Creche Gotinhas de Vida, Vou Vencer - Adolescent Apprentice, Art & Life and in the Ler para Transformar Program, in Araçariguama. In Sorocaba, we serve children and teenagers at Casa Nova Vida. In São Paulo, we have the SASF - Perus Program, developing community work with families in a situation of very high social vulnerability.

Since its foundation, AEBVB has sought to develop work with excellence in this segment, aiming at the individual's autonomy, allowing the opportunity for personal valorization and strengthening of self-esteem, monitoring in school and professional life, care with physical, emotional and psychic, promoting tools for reflection and awareness of the exercise of citizenship.
