The FPO E-commerce application, developed by DSC serves as a comprehensive platform to enhance the business activities of Farmers' Producer Organizations (FPOs). Through Google Authentication, farmers can easily register and log in, managing their profiles by updating information such as village, block, district, name of FPO in which they are member, their land holding, mobile number, and major crops. The application incorporates features like product information and a cart module, allowing farmers to view listed products, select items and quantities, place orders which they wish to buy, and manage commodities they wish to sell. The web application extends administrative functionalities, including adding products, define prices, FPOs with locations, and Agro Centers.
Furthermore, the web application facilitates user management tasks, such as creating Agro Center users, associating/disassociating them with Agro Centers, resetting passwords, and deactivating accounts. Robust reporting capabilities are integrated, providing insights through up to 10 reports, including farmer reports, order reports, and product order reports. The dashboard, equipped with various widgets like tables, charts, and graphs, presents a snapshot of the data from the previous day, offering valuable insights for decision-making.
The application prioritizes localisation, allowing administrators to manage content in Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati with English as the default language. Additionally, SMS integration ensures efficient communication, providing notifications to farmers on successful product order placement, product collection details, and confirmation of commodity purchases with payment message. Through collaborative efforts with the DSC team, the application aims to tailor reports and dashboards to meet specific data points and indicators essential for effective business management.
