African clothes are traditional clothes worn by Africans. In all cases except rural areas, this traditional dress has been replaced by Western clothing introduced by European invaders.

African clothing and fashion are diverse topics that are able to provide insights into various African cultures. Clothing varies from brightly colored textiles, to abstractly embroidered robes, to colorful beaded bracelets and necklaces. Because Africa is such a large and diverse continent, traditional clothing differs from country to country. For example, many countries in West Africa have "different regional clothing styles that are products of old textile crafts in weaving, coloring and printing", but this tradition can still coexist with western styles.
