The Radio has been broadcasting on 102.7 MHz since February 14, 2023 in the eastern region of the country, an almost virgin region in terms of radio stations.
The radio is an initiative of an ABG Burundi non-profit organization. Very moved to have a community radio, the population of this region particularly of the province of Ruyigi does not sing anything other than Agaseke FM.

This Saturday, February 18, 2023, the national bodies of the said mother association of the radio as well as the provincial coordinators visited the radio to take stock together of what has been born from the efforts invested.

Some inhabitants of the hills surrounding the Gasanga district (headquarters of the radio) came one by one to reassure themselves of this good news.
