It is a nurses union formed voluntarily by the nursing profession and registered in accordance with the Hong Kong Government Trade Unions Ordinance. It is independent of any organization. With the purpose of "based on professionalism, caring for society, improving medical care, and protecting citizens", the Association continues to fight for the rights and interests of the nursing profession and improve the quality of local nursing services. The Association's efforts have also been supported by the profession.
Our members come from different nursing ranks, including registered nurses, registered nurses, nursing students, injectors, health assistants and midwives, etc., and are employed by different organizations such as the Hospital Authority, Department of Health, Social Welfare Department, private hospitals and voluntary groups.
