Welcome to Bioweingut Menhard family

"Healthy soil - healthy vine - good wine". Following this motto, we manage our family business for decades - since 1994 as a certified organic operation.

This is in the nature park Southern Styria, a few kilometers from the Slovenian border.
Covering an area of ​​about 8 ha we grow white as well as red wines. Since the slopes are extremely steep part, many works need to be done manually.

We are convinced that only a biologically active soil poses the best foundation for healthy natural growth in itself. It means are used exclusively, dating back to the cycle of nature and this also can be fed safely again.

During development of the wines we attach great importance to tread the individual, distinctive wines, where the characteristics of the soil and the vintage remain.
