Akshaya Centre is a government project to bring the Digital Literacy Scheme of the Government of Kerala to the people and to provide online services related to the various schemes implemented by the government through various departments. Around 3000 computer literate entrepreneurs were selected to start Akshaya Kendra Centre for the implementation of Computer Literacy Programma, the first phase of the Akshaya Project launched in 2002. Akshaya News Kerala is a news portal developed by a group of around 100 Akshaya entrepreneurs from various districts who were running Akshaya Centre, which led to complete computer literacy in our state, and gave the state of Kerala enough name and fame. Today Akshaya News Kerala is able to provide the necessary guidelines to Akshaya entrepreneurs to deliver the online services of central and state governments to the people in a timely and transparent manner and to provide news and notifications about government projects to the people. Today, Akshaya News Kerala is sharing good news and announcements that will benefit people working in various fields, students, youth and housewives.
