He was sent down during the Makkah period.
It consists of 77 verses.
🔸68-70. It is narrated that the verses were sent down in the Madinah period.
It got its name from the same word in the first verse.
🔸Furkan means "separating the truth from falsehood" and it is also a name of the Quran.
