Now fold the paper diagonally in half to a triangle and then unfold the paper. Repeat this step in the opposite direction to create another diagonal fold to make a "X" crease pattern on your paper. Next fold the paper in half horizontally to make a rectangle and unfold it. Follow this by folding the paper vertically to create another rectangle, and unfold once again. These folds will serve as guides for the next steps.
