The Egyptian Drug Information Center (EDIC) was established at central administration for pharmaceutical affairs (CAPA) affiliated to Ministry of Health. Proceeding from the continuous support of the Egyptian Ministry of Health to any initiative to curb any encountered or threatening public health problems, drug information center establishment was organized in 2012, the ministerial decree no. 391/2012, to practice the different aspects of the DIC center to ensure patient safety Vision To be the national leading organization for drug information provision and dissemination, with professional excellence and evidence based practice across Egypt
