Contemporary Texts is a quarterly magazine published by the Center for Contemporary Research in Beirut. It deals with the field of religious thought in general.
The magazine was established in 2005 AD, under the editorship of Sheikh Haider Hoballah. It has worked and is still working on translating intellectual and cultural studies related to religious affairs from non-Arabic languages. It has dealt with the most problematic and sensitive issues related to the philosophy of religion, the science of new theology, modern studies in the field of Qur’anic texts, and discourse. Religious, as well as in the field of comparative readings in relation to Western and Islamic thought and so on.
The magazine adopts the approach of opening the door to different opinions, as it presents the opinion and the other opinion, and works to open a serious dialogue between the intellectual and innovative trends in the Arab and Islamic world. Many of the articles published in this magazine have sparked controversy and wide reactions, as they dealt with extremely sensitive issues.
It is truly an interesting journal, through which new horizons can be opened for researchers, writers, and students of religious studies.

The Journal of Ijtihad and Renewal is a quarterly magazine published by the Center for Contemporary Research in Beirut. It deals with the field of innovation in Sharia and legal jurisprudence.
The magazine was established in 2006 AD, under the editorship of Sheikh Haider Hoballah, and it has worked and is still working to contribute to supplying the intellectual arena with new, bold and critical studies in the field of legal sciences related to Islamic jurisprudence and jurisprudence. The magazine has dealt with many problematic and sensitive issues related to the science of jurisprudence, the science of hadith and men, comparative law, comparative legal studies between schools of thought, new issues, the jurisprudence of emerging issues, and so on.
