Jazz is a genre of music that originated in African American communities during the late 19th and early 20th century. As jazz spread around the world, it drew on different national, regional, and local musical cultures, giving rise to many distinctive styles such as New Orleans jazz, Kansas City jazz,Gypsy jazz, smooth jazz, Latin jazz etc.
The typical jazz instruments are saxophone, double bass, drums, guitar, piano, trumpet, clarinet, trombone.
