RURAL URBAN MIGRATION
The Rural Urban migration in most african cities has not only strained urban facilities but has also affected food production and subsequently building inflationary pressure on our already fragile economies. This while posing as an opportunity for agricultural ventures creates a new challenge due to low productivity and subsequently food insecurity.

FOOD SECURITY
The food security challenge due to the rural urban migration keeps on growing everyday both in rural communities - due to lose of labour and in urban centres - due to lack of production.
Climate change has also affected the use of natural resources in many of our traditional farming practices, many of which we once took for granted are no longer available such as Natural seasonal rainfall.
We increasingly need to improve our farming methods including increasing acreage, mechanisation of farming, use of improved seeds, fertilizer usuage etc.

AGRICULTURE FINANCING CHALLENGES
Our unique challenge for increase of agricultural production is Land Tenure System - communal land ownership means collateralisation of farm land is impractical.
Access to Agricultural financing is limited due to the risk associated with Agricultural ventures.
