Ustaz Abdul Somad Batubara, Lc., DESA, Datuk Seri Setia Negara Ulama [2] or better known as Ustaz Abdul Somad (Arabic: عبد الصمد, born in Silo Lama, Asahan, North Sumatra, May 18, 1977; age 41 years) [1] [3] is an Indonesian preacher and cleric who often reviews various kinds of religious issues, especially the study of hadith and fiqh science. In addition, he also discussed a lot about nationalism and various current problems which were becoming a hot discussion among the people. His name is known to the public because of his knowledge and innocence in giving explanations in delivering da'wah broadcast via Youtube channels. [4] [5] Ustadz Abdul Somad is currently serving as a lecturer at Sultan Syarif Kasim (UIN Suska) Islamic University of Riau.
