Cantonment College Jashore, this college was established on 01 July 1969 in the campus of Dawood Public School under Directorate of Military Lands and Cantonments (DMLC) under Ministry of Defense. Later, in 1983 the college was relocated in the present campus. The College was transformed into a public college in 2015 being disintegrated from DMLC. A strong management headed by a high army official looks after the overall affairs of the college.

Students in Cantonment College Jashore are motivated to be self-reliant through regular
academic and co-curricular program. With modern skill-based education, they are also inspired to meet the challenges of life. The college also encourages students to meet future challenges with knowledge based humane personality.
