Anyone can freely chat with lawyers in key areas of law throughout Brazil in minutes and, if desired, hire the lawyer who best suits their needs.

Beca is completely free for lawyers. In return, Beca encourages lawyers to answer simple questions free of charge, only when they wish—always being able to choose when and how much to charge for answering multiple or complex questions.

Beca believes in the main drivers of persuasion: reciprocity and authority (clients perceive competence, plain language, and responsiveness when speaking with a lawyer, and may reciprocate the lawyer's courtesy and hire them).

Furthermore, Beca also requires the inclusion of a monthly charge of R$70 (seventy reais) in the Fee Agreements of clients acquired through the Beca app, from the moment they are hired until the case is finalized. Of this amount, R$36 (thirty-six reais) goes to the lawyer each month, who also receives 100% (one hundred percent) of the negotiated fees.

Beca is working to offer more features for clients and lawyers, such as Case Tracking* (daily monitoring of case progress), AI Chat* (a chat to answer questions about the case, based on real case data and online research), Case Insurance* (insurance against potential errors and missed deadlines by the lawyer), In-App Electronic Signature* (signature in the app itself via the Docusign API), among other features.

*The features described are not yet available, but Beca plans to add these and other features to better serve clients and lawyers.
