We’re working to bring back the magical allure of social media: just how platforms like facebook and twitter started, to keep us up to date with those we care about most. Sadly these platforms have lost this magic over time as they now do whatever they can to keep us on their apps, feeding us with impersonal, attention-sucking content. Now while there is a value in this, such as keeping up with celebs, this does not feed our human need for true, meaningful social interaction. This is why we’ve built Oval.
