Fairfield provides full-time police protection with a staff consisting of the Chief, Detective-Captain, two Patrol Sergeants, six full-time Patrol Officers, several Reserve Officers, and a Clerk/Dispatcher. The Animal Control Officer is dispatched via the Police Department.
