In an effort to support digital transformation in the health sector, the Aisyiyah Pontianak Polytechnic research and community service (PKM) team presented an Android-based application innovation called KR Flebo.
This application was initiated and developed by a team led by Dr. Khoirul Rista Abidin, Ns., M.Biomed, together with two implementing members, namely Ariffialdi Nurhidayattulloh, S.Tr., M.Kes and Apt. Abdurrafi' Maududi Dermawan, M.Sc.
The development of this application is part of the implementation of the 2025 Aisyiyah Pontianak Polytechnic PKM grant program, which specifically collaborates with cross-institutional collaboration.
In its implementation, the team also collaborated with one of the lecturers from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak, namely Apt. Abdurrafi' Maududi Dermawan, M.Sc, who acts as a collaborating partner. This synergy between institutions is a concrete manifestation of the collaborative spirit in developing health science-based digital solutions.
The KR Flebo application began to be developed in February 2025, with the main aim of providing a digital platform that can be used for education, documentation and services regarding phlebotomy (venous blood collection) carried out by health workers as well as nursing students and health analysts.
It is also hoped that this application can become a medium for educating the general public regarding the importance of blood collection procedures that are safe, sterile and in accordance with medical standards.
