GENADHECAR is a screening and decision support tool designed for healthcare professionals to assess the risk of non-adherence to statin therapy in patients undergoing secondary cardiovascular prevention.
The app is based on the GENADHECAR questionnaire, a scientifically validated tool developed with a gender perspective, aiming to better detect and understand differences in therapeutic adherence between women and men. This questionnaire was created as part of the research project PI20/01304, funded by the Carlos III Health Institute and FEDER funds.
This tool allows clinicians to:
• Quickly screen and estimate the patient’s risk of poor adherence to statin treatment
• Identify individuals who may benefit from targeted interventions
• Support shared decision-making in cardiovascular disease prevention
The GENADHECAR app is the result of a multidisciplinary research initiative conducted by members of CIAP (Primary Care Research Center) at Universidad Miguel Hernández (UMH).
This app is intended for professional use and should not replace clinical judgment.
