Annual Dental Symposium

The College of Dentistry at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University has been a front liner in the field of continuing dental education at the Eastern Province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To date this would be the 14th Annual dental symposium that the college will be hosting and conducting not only for the dental practitioners but also to dental students and all practitioners in the dental field.
The ADS is one of the pioneers in giving continuing dental education regarding dentistry that has been modernized using advanced technologies in enhancing student learning through active engagement in the learning process; significant increase in educational productivity by reducing costs associated with the design and delivery of the curriculum and effective utilization of faculty teaching time.
The College of Dentistry at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University had dedicated enormous amount of research in the field of dentistry with the use of technology in education that is essential for dental educators to stay abreast of the latest developments on the use of advanced technologies to improve teaching and its’ potential impact on the ultimate patient care. The ADS also provide hand-on- workshops for the latest techniques and products in the dental industry.
Over the past few decades Saudi Arabia has witnessed an increased focus on oral health. The ADS overall goal is to provide and enhance the leaders in dentistry; dental student and dental auxiliaries with the continuing dental education line-up by the organizing committee of the ADS.
