Greg Beatty bought his first sporting goods store in North Canton, Ohio in 1985 called Viking Sports. After being in the business for five years he bought another store in Alliance, Ohio from a former Cleveland Cavaliers player. Raising a family at the time and running two stores was getting to be too much so he sold the other stores and settled down in Louisville, Ohio where you will see him today, running the Louisville store. Another store was purchased in Hartville, Ohio in 2005 where his son Erik Beatty now works manages.
