وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي

And your Lord said: "Pray to Me, surely I will allow it for you. Indeed, those who boast from worshiping Me will go to hell in Hell in contempt of contempt". (Surah Al Mukmin verse 60)

The Messenger of Allah said, "Truly, Allah loves those who work." (Narrated by al-Baihaqi). In another Hadith passage the Messenger of Allah also said, "Remember, if the young man works for his parents, or one of them, then he is in the way of Allah. If he works for his family, he is in the way of Allah. If he works for himself, he is also in the way of Allah. " (Narrated by al-Baihaqi).

"Indeed, the Prayer that is immediately granted by Allah is the prayer of a (wife) to another person (husband) who is not in the same place (far apart)." (HR.Tirmidhi).
