King Lear - is one of the most popular and well-known pieces of the legendary Shakespeare.
In the play King Lear Shakespeare tells the story of a despotic king, who in his old age decides to retire and divide his kingdom among his three daughters Cordelia, Goneril and Reganoy. But in return he wants to hear how much his daughter loves him. But the proud Cordelia does not want to say flattering speeches and refuses. King furiously denies her heritage and retires, and not knowing how the storm over it thickens.
