The Food Guide for the Brazilian Population provides Brazilians with dietary information and recommendations to promote health and prevent disease. It is an official document, published by the Ministry of Health, and its most recent version was released in 2014. It is a nutrition education tool for all Brazilians, and seeks to help solve, through its dissemination and implementation, public health problems. present in the current scenario of the country, such as obesity and chronic non-communicable diseases, such as high blood pressure and diabetes. Thus the application comes to create this connection line between information and the population, making knowledge reach more areas.

This application was developed for a scientific project in the field of Community Health Integration Program (Pisc), Salvador University - unifacs, Getúlio Vargas campus.
