Kobe Bryant, born August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and died January 26, 2020 in Calabasas, California, was an American basketball player. He played in the Los Angeles Lakers NBA franchise for twenty seasons, between 1996 and 2016.

Considered one of the best players in the history of American basketball, Kobe Bryant participated decisively in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic titles for the United States. He tragically disappeared in a helicopter crash at the age of 41 on January 26, 2020.
