O God, I appeal to you through Santa Luzia, virgin and martyr, patroness of all who suffer from eye diseases, remove or cure the diseases that harm our eyes. Give us eyes attentive to your wonders, the needs and sufferings of our brothers. May the blessing of Santa Luzia help to contemplate your glory, present in creation and in eternity. Amen.
