Mahram is everyone who can be married forever because of heredity, suffocation and marriage in Muslim Southeast Asia often misunderstood in using this term mahram with the word, in fact the word muhrim has another meaning. In the Arabic language, the word muhrim (muhrimun) means the person who berihram in worship before bertahallul. While the word mahram (mahramun) means people who are our opposite, but it is illegal (should not) we marry temporarily or forever. But we can travel with him, can be with him, can see his face, can shake hands, and so on.

DEFINITION OF MAHRAM

Said the Imam Ibn Qudamah Rahimahullah: "Mahram is all the unlawful to marry forever with nasab, marriage, and marriage (Al-Mughni 6/555)

Sheikh Shaleh Al Fauzan Hafidzhahullah said;

"The Mahram woman is her husband and all the illegitimate women are inherited forever because of nasab, such as father, child, and brother, or from other causes such as siblings, father or stepdaughter" (Tanbihat 'ala ahkam takhtashu bil mu'minat hal: 67)
