Two works of Fyodor Dostoevsky are offered to your attention - “Notes from the Underground” and “Bad Anecdote” - performed by Dmitry Bykov.
The narration in the "Notes" is conducted on behalf of a former official who lives in St. Petersburg. Vladimir Nabokov, who was generally disapproving of Dostoevsky’s work, wrote about the story: “Here Dostoevsky’s themes, stereotypes and intonations are most vividly represented. This is the quintessence of dostoevschiny. ”
The story "Bad Joke" is written in a satirical vein with elements of the grotesque. The atmosphere of the work resembles a bad dream, in which, if desired, one can find important psychoanalytic motifs.
The audiobook also includes a lecture - a fascinating story by Dmitry Bykov about the read works.
