Lontara script is the traditional characters of the Bugis community, according to the cultural forms Lontara script comes from "sulapa eppa wala suji". Wala wala suji comes from the word that means the separator / fence / carers and suji which means princess. Wala suji is a kind of bamboo fence in rituals rhombic. Sulapa eppa (empata side) is a form of mystical belief that symbolizes the Bugis ethnic composition of the universe, fire-wind-water-soil. Lontara letter is in general used to write the rules and regulations of government and society. The manuscript is written on palm leaves using a stick or pen made of rough fibers.
