Surah Taghabun is the sixty-fourth surah and one of the civil surahs of the Qur'an, which is placed in chapter 28. This surah is called Taghaban because in verse 9 of this surah, the Day of Judgment is called the Day of al-Taghban (the day of revealing the loss in the transaction of life). Among the topics raised in this surah are the discussion about the resurrection, the issue of human creation, and some moral and social commands such as trusting in God, favoring a good loan, and avoiding stinginess.
Among the famous verses of Surah Taghaban are the 15th verse, which introduces wealth and children as a test for a person, and the 17th verse, which describes spending in the way of God as a loan to God, which God considers and rewards many times over. Among the virtues of reciting this Surah, it has been narrated from the Prophet (PBUH) that whoever recites Surah Taghaban, sudden death will be averted from him.
Famous reciters have recited this blessed surah from the Holy Quran.
