Sequoia offers classes in yoga asana (hatha, restorative, yin, nidra), mobility, strength training, mediation and more. All of our classes are intended to be accessible for all levels, so no matter where you are in your mindfulness or movement journey, Sequoia has classes for you!
Mindful movement is about undoing the automation of movement by bringing non-judgmental awareness to the physical, emotional and cognitive aspects of motion patterns in yoga asana, strength training, mobility practice, dance and rest.
Each of our in-studio and on-demand classes are designed to build strength, mobility and flexibility by emphasizing each student’s non-judgmental awareness of their own body and mind. Each class is taught with detailed instruction to best assist students in exploring their own awareness to employ their own best available expression of the movement being practiced.
In addition to its regular class offerings, Sequoia offers its own unique program called The Sequoia Sequence. The Sequoia Sequence in a 75 (seventy-five) minute practice pulling from all class offerings to achieve balance in line with the specific season.
