Uptown Yoga is a warm and inviting community of diverse yogis in Dallas, TX. Our classes and studios are created to support students in their journey to a higher state of well being. Through conscious movement, we open and strengthen the physical body. Through breath and mindfulness practices, we calm the mind and emotional body. All helping to create ease in the way we experience life.
OUR TEACHERS:
We have a group of teachers that are dedicated to ongoing study, and bring a wealth of knowledge and practiced skill. They create a safe space for exploration, and are able to adapt the practices to suit any individual at any skill level. Our teachers share a common goal of helping you find peace in the way you experience life. Using movement of yoga to find ease in the physical body, the breath to find ease in the minds, and self inquiry to find ease in the way we interact with each other and navigate the world together.
OUR COMMUNITY:
One of the hardest parts of trying yoga for the first time, is getting over the fear if you will fit in or not. Our community is non-competitive and friendly; there is not a general yoga type. Our students range in age from 18- 65 and come in all shapes and sizes. You’ll find the community a very comfortable place to be yourself and enjoy your practice.
