ARTRACK Porter is the official companion app for the ARTRACK hospital management software, designed specifically for hospital staff such as porters. This app streamlines the process of receiving, managing, and completing tasks assigned by hospital management. From handling patient transfers and delivering essential items across departments to managing cleaning tasks, ARTRACK Porter ensures hospital operations are executed efficiently and on time.
Key Features:
• Task Management: View and accept tasks directly from the ARTRACK Web platform.
• Task List: Track all accepted tasks with real-time updates on task status.
• Multiple Login Methods: Access the app using QR codes, NFC badges, or other hospital-issued credentials.
• User Management by IT: Only authorized users managed by hospital IT can access the app. Public registration is not available, ensuring a secure environment.
Task Dispatching Methods:
Tasks can be assigned through Automatic Dispatching, Manual Dispatching, or displayed in a Task List.
Each ARTRACK Porter user belongs to a team, and the dispatching method is configured at the team level.
Tasks must be created by the Team Lead in ARTRACK Web and will appear in the Porter app based on the chosen dispatching method.
Task List View:
• Users see a list of tasks (the number of visible tasks is configured at the team level – see the attached screenshot).
• Tasks can be accepted or started (starting a task requires a long press to prevent accidental actions).
• Users must expand a task to view more details, including:
o Scheduled arrival time of the patient
o "From" and "To" locations
o Task criticality
o Process documentation and patient-related information (depending on the hospital)
Based on the situation, users can complete, cancel, or return a patient. These actions are configurable via ARTRACK Web.
Automatic Dispatching:
Tasks are automatically dispatched to a user if they are available and near the task’s starting location.
Manual Dispatching:
The Team Lead manually assigns tasks to users through ARTRACK Web.
The test user “artracktest” can only be used on one mobile device at a time. If you need additional test users, we can create more. Please log out and log in again to apply recent updates. Screenshots are attached for reference.
User Flow in ARTRACK Porter:
• Change Teams: Switch between teams if assigned to multiple.
• Start: Begin a task by long pressing.
• Complete: Mark a task as complete by long pressing.
• Cancel: Cancel a task with a reason predefined in ARTRACK Web.
• Cancel and Copy: Cancel the task and automatically create a new one with a scheduled time X minutes later (configured in ARTRACK Web).
• Complete and Copy: Complete the task and create a new one with a scheduled time X minutes later.
• Cancel and Return: Used when a patient is returned to their room from a treatment area. Once the return is completed, this option is no longer available.
• Complete and Return: Used when a patient is taken to treatment and then returned to their room after completion. This option also disappears once the return is completed.
• Block: Users can block a task for a defined duration (X minutes).
Multi-Language Support:
The app supports multiple languages. Task actions (e.g., Start, Complete) are configured per hospital in their chosen language. These actions are dynamic and adapt based on the hospital's configuration.
