The Central Bureau of Statistics is a Non-Government Organization that is directly responsible to the President. Earlier, CPM is the Central Bureau of Statistics, which was established by Law No. 6 of 1960 on Censuses and Law Number 7 of 1960 on Statistics. In lieu of these two laws set by law No. 16 of 1997 on Statistics. Under this Act were followed by the underlying legislation, formal name was changed to the Central Bureau of Statistics Central Bureau of Statistics.
