The Atalaia Community Communication and Culture Association was created on July 23, 1998, with the specific objective of exploring and installing sound broadcasting services, with the purpose of serving the residents of the municipality of Caculé, seeking to spread ideas, culture , traditions and social habits of the community, in addition to leisure, provide public utility services, promote commerce and improve professionals in all areas.

From there, the registration process began with the
ministry of communications/anatel, and its license to perform community broadcasting services was approved on July 19, 2005, through act no. 51,669, aiming at using the 87.9 mhz frequency corresponding to channel 200 of the fm band.
