This keyboard has been developed by the Aliyakattu Tuluva Sangha (ATS) in collaboration with the Indigenous Animist Society (IAS). It has been designed to accommodate the Tulu & Korrè alphabet system with QWERTY-based ergonomics to aid ease of use and make typing Tulu & Korrè much more accurate and simplified. ATS Tulu - Korrè Barau is an indigenously developed keyboard that allows users to type Tulu or Korrè exactly as one speaks one's respective dialect of these two languages, thus aiding in the preservation of diverse ancient indigenous pronunciations and accents present in various region-specific Tulu and Korrè dialects extant across Tulu Nāḍụ state. The ATS Tulu - Korrè Barau keyboard can be used to type Tulu, tribal dialects of Tulu such as Marakoḍi (Māvilan), Mēra (Mugēra), Mansa as well as languages closely related to Tulu such as Korrè (Koraga language), Kuḍiya (Malè Kudiya language), and to some extent, Bellāri (Bellāra language). We hope you put the ATS Tulu - Korrè Barau keyboard to good use.
