Hello! This app originally started off as a spreadsheet made by a student of Ayurveda in order to help him balance Vata and Pita simultaneously. It enables users who know their Prakruti and Vikriti to choose which dosha(s) they want to balance and then access hundreds of food items across 15 categories to see which foods are and are not recommended.* The food recommendations are based on the authentic, timeless knowledge of Ayurveda provided by a veteran Ayurvedic practitioner, Michael Dick, who for many years studied and worked closely with Vasant Lad, a celebrated Ayurvedic practitioner in the US. We hope that it helps you gain the full benefits of Ayurveda and bring your Vikriti back to your Prakruti!
