There is no greater danger than adultery after the danger of consequences
murder. Therefore, God presupposes the death penalty for him
in the most heinous, worst, and most painful form.
A servant who heard that his wife was killed is still far away
lighter than when he heard his wife had committed adultery.

Sa'id bin Ubadah Ra. said, "If only I saw a man
with my wife, surely I will cut him down with a merciless sword. "
When his words were heard by the Messenger of Allah, he saw. said,
"Are you surprised by Sa'id's jealousy? By Allah, I am more
jealous than him, and Allah is more jealous than me. Because
that, He forbids despicable deeds, both visible and yang
hidden. (HR. Al-Bukhari and Muslim) "
